Ministries - Center for Advanced Christian Education Small Groups Any Day Six for Kicks Leaders: David & Bethany Schoeff, (614) 850-0584, Description: Regardless of whether you are new to the church or have been a long-time member, this group is designed to help you meet and get acquainted with others at CCCN. You will be grouped with five other people (one being your spouse, if applicable). Each group of six will meet together three times, one time per month, to dine in at each other’s homes or to dine out at a restaurant, based on the group’s preference. In January you will be given a new group with which to “meet and eat” three times. Everyone involved will gather together for a potluck celebration in May. The Day of the week, time of meeting, and location of dining will be determined by each “party of six,” but we will attempt to group you with others who share your preferences. (You will have a chance to state your preferences when you sign up for this group.) Both single people and couples are welcome. There is NO limit to the number of people that can join this group! Day of Week: Any day Time: T.B.D. by each “party of six” Child Care Plan: No childcare is provided. While this group is intended for adults, each group of six can determine whether they would like to include their children in the “meet and eat”. You must arrange for any childcare if needed. Requirements: To participate in this group, you must commit to meet at least seven (7) times from September through May: three times with each “party of six” and once for the potluck. College students are struggling with everything – what to study, becoming an adult, relationships, responsibility &, not least of all, faith. Sometimes during the struggle we are on top & it doesn’t seem too difficult; other times we are flat on our back just trying to catch our breath. Jacob was all of the following things: imperfect, a liar, a cheater, scared, hurting, lonely, and sometimes lost.
