Setan and Randa Lee
"God has given Randa and me a vision, and that vision is to train 1,000 pastors/leaders to plant 1,000 churches in the next 10 years. This vision came to us in 1990, when the Lord graciously opened the door for us to return back to our homeland (Cambodia), after being away for more than one decade."
From all human observations, it looked like the life of Setan Lee was doomed the day he was taken captive by the Khmer Rouge and put into a concentration camp in the infamous "Killing Fields". Little did anyone know of what plans God had for this young man.
After almost four years as a prisoner at Khmer Rouge, Setan found FREEDOM. Freedom from his captors and Freedom from sin. One day, just minutes from being killed, he cried out "Lord of the Universe spare my life, and I will be a witness for you." On his way out of Cambodia to freedom in Thailand (which means "free"), he met a man who introduced him to Jesus Christ as His personal Savior. For the next several years, God trained and groomed Setan for the exciting ministries he has established and is responsible for. Setan has kept that vow to God through many difficult experiences.
Upon his return to Cambodia, Setan started leading people to Christ. He established a church and a Bible Training Center. His first years of missionary work in Cambodia were financed through the savings he and his wife, Randa, had accumulated. Setan knew if the Church of Jesus Christ was going to grow in Cambodia, it was going to be through men and women trained in the Bible and Evangelism. That is still the heaviest burden and priority on the minds and hearts of Setan and Randa Lee.
Current Ministries
- 100 churches and cell groups
- Two year Ministries Training Center for pastors and church planters
- Women's Development Center for young women who have been rescued from prostitution
- Trade School that trains young people in a trade that will enable them to make a decent living
- Orphanage for children of the Khmer Rouge
Prayer Targets
- Leadership and education in all disciplines.
- To educate and train qualified pastors and leaders for the churches and the business world.
