When the weather turns hot and humid, there's only one place to go - THE BEACH! At the beach, where cool water meets a blue sky warm with sunshine, life seems easier. Everyone from toddler to teen finds it easy and natural to play - digging in the sand, floating in the waves, catching sand crabs and picking up shells. This summer, you can take the sights, sounds and smells of the best beach trip ever right here at Christian Community Church! Best of all, this beach trip brings your vacationers to daily encounters with Jesus! Through stories about Jesus' actions, SonSurf Beach Blast will give your kids answers to five big questions about Jesus.
This summer, take your kids to SonSurf Beach Bash VBS - an unforgettable beach blast where kids will come to know the living Jesus who said:
"I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6
Christian Community Church will be transformed again into something special for every child to enjoy. This year's Vacation Bible School is scheduled for July 17 - 22, 2011.
Evening Class is July 17-21, 6:30-8:30 pm
Morning Class is July 18-22, 9:30-11:30 am
Daily Topics Include:
Kids will Meet Up! with Jesus by hearing about His birth and actions in the Temple as a 12-year-old. They will be challenged to get to know Jesus in a deeper way.
Kids will Look Up! to Jesus as they hear how an official trusted Jesus to help him. They will realize that Jesus is the One they can turn to in any situation.
Kids will Join Up! with Jesus as they hear about His death and resurrection. They will understand why they need Jesus and that His loving actions are all that's required for them to be part of God's family.
Kids will Open Up! to Jesus' forgivenness as they hear the story of the Prodigal Son. They will discover that when they've done wrong, Jesus doesn't stop loving them, but forgives them and helps them get back on track.
Kids will Fire Up! for Jesus as they listen to the story of Jesus' last encounter with His disciples. Kids will be ready to show by their own actions and words how much they love Jesus and want to follow Him.
Beach Bash!!
Friday evening, July 22 from 6:30pm – 9:00pm, there will be a program and ice cream social.
This is a chance to come and see what the children have learned during the week,
see the amazing decorations and take time to eat some treats and jump around on large inflatables.
Children entering Kindergarten thru 6th grade are invited to come take part in this exciting time!
