Getting Involved

We strive for an excellent environment with quality volunteers in leadership positions. Our vision for Children's Ministry at Christian Community Church North is to minister to each child's heart while instilling God's word into the heart and mind of each child.

To be effective, we must be available to children, supportive of families, loving, dedicated and self-sacrificing.

We should evaluate our own walk with the Lord and be accountable to God's word in our lives in order to be a Godly example to others.

We are called to provide quality care for our children. The classroom environment should enhance children's opportunities to hear and understand God's loving word while also affording their parents to attend services in the sanctuary unhampered by childcare responsibilities.

Current Opportunities

Nursery Teacher

Nursery Teachers provide leadership to the nursery staff of 4 volunteers each week to provide quality care for infants and toddlers through 2 years old during the worship service. Nursery teachers staff the nursery on a quarterly rotation. A teacher would be in the nursery for a month and then off for two months before leading in the nursery again.

Nursery Volunteer

Nursery Volunteers provide loving, quality care to infants and toddlers through two years old in our nursery during the worship service. Nursery volunteers work in the nursery one week each month.

Junior J.O.Y.Land Teacher

Junior J.O.Y.Land Teachers work in teams of two to provide quality Biblically based education and care to our preschool aged children. Teachers use quality Christian curriculum that provides a framework for classes which include bible story time, music, acticities and crafts. Junior J.O.Y.land teachers work on a quarterly rotation with one month on, and two months off.

J.O.Y.Land Teacher

J.O.Y.Land Teachers provide quality biblically based education for children 5 years old through 5th grade. The service includes corporate times of worship and lessons. Then classroom instruction times that include prayer, ministry discussion, games, and crafts. J.O.Y.land teachers work on a quarterly rotation with one month on, and two months off.
