Our Jr. J.O.Y.Landers (2, 3 and 4 year olds) have had some exciting changes going on in their classes. In October, we took a leap and started structured class time for the entire morning. That meant they had different activity stations set up for the class upon arrival. For instance there is a craft area, a building block area and a home center. The kids choose an activity and move from area to area if they want to. The teachers guide the class in worship and bible-learning activities. It has been a very positive experience for teachers and children.
In November we were able to start a class for just the two-year olds. That has been a very good change also. It has made it possible to better meet the needs of the different ages.
