Worship Team Interview Process:
In order to be considered for a Worship Music Team position at CCCN (Musician, Vocalist and/or Soloist), we ask each person expressing interest to complete a three-step interview process described below. This process is designed to help our worship staff to get to know you better and to offer you the greatest opportunity for your gifts and passions to be used here at CCCN.Thank you for your interest in joining our Worship Team Ministry either through the music or vocals.
The three steps of the interview process include:
1) Take part in a music interview with the worship staff.
Musical interviews are scheduled by appointment. Once a date for an interview is set, you will be contacted. If you respond that you plan to attend the interview, a packet for that interview will be sent to you and a specific time set for your interview. The packet will include recording (s) and printed copies of the music for your interview and helpful tips on how to prepare. The worship staff, according to need, determines the necessity of this type of interview. Once the musical interview is completed the worship staff will file information regarding your interview for later reference. If at any time they determine that there is an opportunity on the Worship Music Team that matches your giftedness, you will be contacted. If the staff contacts you, they will most likely ask you to begin to take step two in the interview process.
2) Complete the Worship Ministry Application/Interview Form and return it to the Worship Music Ministry staff.
The form should be fully completed and then returned to the Worship Staff at the scheduled audition. If you need additional time to complete the form, you can return through the mail or any of the worship staff personally. Once the interview form is received, you will be scheduled to meet with someone on the worship staff for a one-on-one talking interview.
3) Take part in a one-on-one talking interview with Worship staff.
Once the musical and written interview is completed you would then be scheduled for a one-on-one talking interview with someone from the worship staff. This time is designed to offer the staff the opportunity to get to know you better and for you to ask any questions you might have about the ministry and your possible role. A review of the prerequisites and any other expectations will be covered at this time. An assignment to a specific team and role would come only after this interview time. Conditions of assignments will be individually designed for each team member.
